Will the research that is being done at the Princess Máxima Center impact me?
The research department has its own wing in the building. All laboratories are located here. Patients may take a look at some of the departments! You will also encounter many researchers in the restaurant. You will sometimes receive a request for your child's tissue to be used for research. You may also be asked to cooperate with a study. Researchers can then, for example, ask whether your child wants to donate extra blood or do a fitness test. You will also receive questionnaires from time to time. Participation in research is never mandatory.
