3rd Utrecht Brain Conference

Event date: 10-12-2019

The Utrecht Brain Conference is an initiative of several research groups and companies at Utrecht Science Park, that focus on brain development, function and disorders. It is currently hosted by the UMC Utrecht Brain Center, the Neuroscience Institute of the UMC Utrecht. The Utrecht Brain Conference aims to build and maintain a campus-wide community around brain research, thereby fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and increasing the visibility of Utrecht Neuroscience.

This is the 3rd conference and on Tuesday December 10th we again present you with a nice set of speakers, both from Utrecht Science Park and two international keynote speakers: Dr. Varun Venkataramani (University Clinic of Heidelberg, Germany – 1st author of recent Nature paper (Sept 2019) in which it was shown that glioma cells have glutamatergic synaptic input which drives brain tumor progression) and Prof. Sandrine Etienne-Manneville (Institut Pasteur, CNRS, Paris, France – expert on the role of the cytoskeleton in astrocyte polarization and glioma migration).

When:      December 10th, 2019,
                  9:00AM - 17:00PM
