As a molecular biologist with the expertise in gene expression regulation I am interested in new technologies. At the Single Cell Genomics Facility, I advise researchers on practical issues regarding scRNA-seq and single cell multiomics as well as perform library preparations, QCs, sequencing runs and single cell protocol trainings. Wet-lab tasks of the Facility require good organization, documentation and reagents logistics to ensure high quality service to researchers. Thus, we constantly work together on improvements and make sure we can help our colleagues at the Máxima answer various research questions that pop up while studying pediatric tumors. Every project is unique, and I find it very interesting to be involved in so many different areas of research. Also, we are constantly implementing new single cell methods, and it is very exciting to see how fast technology moves forward and to be able to try experiments out first-hand.
