SKION LATER-study part 2. Psycho-oncology: long-term psychosocial consequences of childhood cancer

Phone -

This study aims to give a comprehensive picture of the psychosocial consequences of childhood cancer, including survivors as well as their parents and siblings. Survivor-specific issues such as disease-related worries and positive consequences of childhood cancer are important outcomes of the study because research limited to psychopathology or generic HRQoL is inadequate.
In addition, the study is directed at psychosocial determinants of the psychosocial consequences of childhood cancer. Knowledge about psychosocial risk and protective factors will enable care-providers to provide optimal support to patients/survivors and their families.
