SLAAP study

Phone -

The SLAAP study is a prospective cohort study on sleep in children during and after treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia and their parents. It is an add-on study to the DCOG ALL11 treatment protocol. Patients and their parents are followed from the start of treatment till three years after diagnosis. Results from the SLAAP study will help us better understand how sleep and sleep problems develop during treatment, and what the risk factors are for the development of sleep problems. This will allow for more effective interventions to be developed. Secondary outcomes are fatigue, quality of life and parental distress.
