Epidemiology and treatment outcomes of high-grade brain tumors in children

Raoull Hoogendijk has a bachelor degree in physiotherapy (BSc, with honor) and master degrees in physical therapy in sports (MSc, Cum Laude) and Clinical Epidemiology (MSc). During his bachelor he followed a honor program in which his interest for research was triggered. As a result he joined the Princess Maxima Center in 2017 as clinical trialmanager. His work as clinical trialmanager is part of the activities performed at the Trial and Data Center led by prof. Michel Zwaan and dr. Harm van Tinteren. In 2019 he started his PhD project “Epidemiology and treatment outcomes of high-grade brain tumors in children” at the Karim-Kos group and Van Vuurden group under de supervision of prof. Eelco Hoving and prof. Pieter Wesseling. Since then he combines both activities. Raoull has a strong interest and focus on neuro-oncology in both his PhD research and activities as clinical trialmanager.
