PROMIS-2 (Measuring quality of life)

In this medical research study, we aim to assess whether the quality of life in children with cancer can be effectively measured using PROMIS-questionnaires.
Who can enter
  • Parents of children aged 1 to 7 years with cancer
  • Children and adults aged 8 years and older with cancer
Please note that this study requires that children/parents speak Dutch

Goal

The goal of this study is to determine whether the new PROMIS-questionnaires can accurately measure the quality of life in children with cancer. By "quality of life," we refer to the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the children.

Background

To accurately assess the well-being of children with cancer, it is essential to use reliable questionnaires. Before implementing the PROMIS questionnaires at the Prinses Máxima Center, we need to ensure that these tools effectively measure the quality of life.

In order to participate in a study please refer to your/your child’s doctor.
