Antibody-based treatment for Malignant Rhabdoid Tumors and Rhabdomyosarcoma

In December 2019, I joined the Janda group to start my PhD. My projects focus on developing antibody-based imaging and treatment strategies for children with Malignant Rhabdoid Tumors (MRTs) and Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) to increase their survival and quality of life. As part of my project, I leverage several techniques, including cell surface proteomics to unravel new cancer targets, the preparation of single-chain viable fragments (scFvs) and nanobodies that are specific for these targets and their functional characterization in cell-based assays.
