Imaging acute lymphoblastic leukemia in innovative 3D bone marrow models

Brian Kruisinga obtained his BSc degree in Biology and Medical Laboratory Research at the university of applied science in Rotterdam and started working as technician in a startup company. After three years, he decided to shift to academic research at the Princess Máxima Center. Since 2022 he has been involved wetlab research addressing the bone marrow microenvironment in ALL.

Brian is specialized in imaging and is interested in setting up 3D culture systems to study cell-cell communication and immune cell migration. Additionally, he also processes clinical samples for phase I/II clinical trials to study ex vivo response to new precision medicines.
