As a Mathematician with a biostatistical expertise, I find single-cell data as the perfect combination of methodological challenges and clinical relevance. The understanding of the inherent complexity and variability of such data requires advanced knowledge of probability theory and statistical modeling, as well as strong programming skills. At the facility, I implement all the necessary steps for an end-to-end analysis pipeline, from data cleaning (quality control, normalization, integration) to results reporting. I also develop custom scripts and modules for our automations, which help ensure reproducibility. The goal is to unravel the story behind the data, translate technical language to non-technical and ultimately uncover biological insights.
