Bio informatician research
From Raw Data to Insights into Blood Cell Formation

Modern genetic technologies like single-cell sequencing generate vast amounts of data. While this allows for more precise research, it also requires specialized knowledge to interpret the results. I enjoy working with this sequencing data to address complex biological questions. I'm particularly interested in the formation of blood and lymphatic cells following stem cell transplantation - an area where much remains to be discovered. As a bioinformatician in the Belderbos Group, I help interpret genetic data from these cells. This aligns well with my role in the team at the Single Cell Sequencing Facility - the central hub supporting research groups with single-cell analysis needs.
