The role of the bone marrow microenvironment in B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia

Phone 088 97  250 71

Project description: In my project, I am focusing on the interaction between mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) and B cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP-ALL). To investigate this interaction, we perform co-cultures of MSCs and BCP-ALL cells. Supernatant of these co-cultures is saved for cytokine detection, and cell sorting is performed to obtain protein and RNA from the separate cell fractions. RNA sequencing is performed to detect changes in the gene expression profile of both MSCs and ALL cells after co-culture compared to mono-culture.
