Implementing PROMIS into daily clinical practice through the KLIK portal

The Patient-Reported Outcomes Information System (PROMIS©) is a collection of item banks created using modern psychometric models known as item response theory models. Over the past year multiple PROMIS instruments have been translated; Anger, Anxiety, Depressive Symptoms, Fatigue, Mobility, Pain Interference, Peer Relationships, Upper Extremity, Sleep Disturbance, Sleep-related Impairment, Sleep Practices and General Health. To successfully implement the PROMIS item banks for clinical use in pediatrics within the Netherlands these item banks have to be validated for the Dutch population. Normative scores have to be developed to make comparisons possible and set clinically relevant cut-off scores.

Michiel's project is carried out in collaboration with the AMC.
He is supervised by Dr. L. Haverman (AMC), Dr. C. Terwee (VUmc), Dr. R. van Litsenburg en Prof. Dr. M. Grootenhuis
