With a radomised controlled trials we evaluate the effectiveness of two online cognitive-behavioral group interventions Op Koers Online for adolescents (12-18 years) with chronic illness and parents of children and adolescents (0-18 years) with chronic illness. Goal of these chat interventions is to prevent and/or to reduce psychosocial problems by teaching active coping skills with the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. Outcomes are assessed with standardized questionnaires completed by participants at four time-points (from baseline to one-year follow-up). Results from these studies are important for the implementation of the Op Koers program in the Princess Máxima Center.
