Since 2016, I have been working at the Princess Máxima Center doing research in psychosocial pediatric oncology. I have been involved in several projects over the years. My PhD research focused on using interactive technological tools (such as a social robot) to support children and families in coping with stress and reducing the psychosocial consequences of the disease and its treatment. After my doctoral research, I started working as research coordinator of the PROM Core Facility.
As research coordinator of the PROM Core Facility, I focus on all research-related activities in our center that include PROMs: Patient Reported Outcome Measures, also known as questionnaires. This includes data releases of PROM data (e.g., quality of life data), clinical studies and (international) trials. The PROM Core Facility can facilitate you with advice, for example, on selecting the most appropriate PROM(s), and on analyzing and interpreting PROM data. We also offer support in administering PROMs, which we at the Princess Máxima Center try to integrate as much as possible with each other and with the use of PROMs in care through our KLIK PROM portal.
