HERCules Project and FASTigial Study
Phone +31 6 50173542

As a research assistant, I am mainly involved in the HERCules Project (with Anouk Remmits) and in the FASTigial Study (with Iris Obdeijn). The HERCules Project focuses on hypothalamic dysfunction, particularly investigating the effects of radiotherapy on the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland and its assocations with cognitive functioning. The FASTigial Study explores clinical and neuroradiological predictors of neuropsychological outcome in children with posterior fossa tumors. A key focus of the FASTigial Study is the phenomenon of Cerebellar Mutism Syndrome (CMS), examining changes in both neuroradiological and neuropsychological measures over time, as well as between children with varying CMS severity. For both studies, I am responsible for conducting the neuropsychological (screening) assessments with participating patients. In addition to my research responsibilities, I also perform neuropsychological assessments as part of the clinical Brain CARE program.
