Implementation and interpretation of advanced MRI scans that are made during brain tumor resection in children. Examples of such scans are diffusion scans (DTI, DKI), perfusion scans (ASL), and metabolic scans (APTw). By means of these scans we hope to achieve a complete tumor resection, reduce damage to healthy functional brain tissue, and gain insight into possible surgery-induced early effects.
