Mechanisms of hematopoietic stem cells regenerating blood

Phone 088 972 98 02

To unravel the mechanisms behind hematopoietic stem cells regenerating blood, we in the Belderbos group use single-cell sequencing assays, like CITE-seq. In my role as head-technician, I’m involved in the wet-lab part of many of these single-cell projects. I enjoy performing the process from raw patient material all the way to sequencing, which keeps me aware of our research goal: gain a better understanding of hematopoietic stem cell regeneration upon transplantations. Next to performing the experiments, I also act as a lab coordinator, ensuring that the experiments can run as smoothly as possible.
